Mariano Fortuny, Delphos.

"And in the history of art and design, unclassifiable artist is lost."

Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo belongs to a family of artists. Born in Granada but at 3 years old he moved to Paris and finally to Venice, where he lived until his death. He is the creator of Delphos, the Greek court dress I heard for the first time in 'The time between seams', highly recommended novel of Maria Dueñas, and which gives its name to the Catwalk grenadine.

On Wednesday, Fortuny displayed its fifth edition about Young Designers, for which the contest are open, in the Press Association, organized by the School of Art and Ideal Granada.
I had the pleasure to hear and meet Jose Francisco Gonzalez, Director of Fortuny, and watch the video of the previous edition accompanied by my dear blogger team and a delicious catering.
